Support integration
Zendesk + HalftimeOS
Track tickets created, tickets solved, and open ticket volume.
Why connect Zendesk?
Support load is a real leading indicator — a spike in tickets or a growing open queue is worth knowing before it shows up as a customer complaint in a huddle. Pull it straight from Zendesk instead of asking the support lead to count by hand every week.
What you can track
-
Tickets Created Common pick
New tickets in the period.
-
Tickets Solved Common pick
Tickets solved in the period. Approximated from last-updated date, since Zendesk's search API doesn't filter on solve date directly — can undercount tickets solved and then edited later.
-
Open Tickets
Tickets currently open, pending, or on hold right now — not date-ranged, a snapshot of the queue.
-
CSAT Score
Share of satisfaction ratings marked "good" in the period.
How to connect Zendesk
-
1
In HalftimeOS, go to Settings → Integrations and find Zendesk.
-
2
Enter your credentials as "subdomain:email:apitoken" — e.g. "acme:jane@acme.com:AbC123...". Create the token in Zendesk under Admin Center → Apps and integrations → APIs → Zendesk API.
-
3
Paste the key into HalftimeOS — it's encrypted at rest and never shown again in plain text.
-
4
Pick which metrics to track (we suggest the common ones) and map each to a new or existing KPI on your scorecard.
Connect with an API key from your own account.
Questions people ask about Zendesk
What does the Zendesk integration do?
Support load is a real leading indicator — a spike in tickets or a growing open queue is worth knowing before it shows up as a customer complaint in a huddle. Pull it straight from Zendesk instead of asking the support lead to count by hand every week.
What metrics can I track from Zendesk?
You can pull Tickets Created, Tickets Solved, Open Tickets, and CSAT Score onto your scorecard as KPIs, updated automatically instead of entered by hand.
How do I connect Zendesk to HalftimeOS?
In HalftimeOS, go to Settings → Integrations and find Zendesk. Enter your credentials as "subdomain:email:apitoken" — e.g. "acme:jane@acme.com:AbC123...". Create the token in Zendesk under Admin Center → Apps and integrations → APIs → Zendesk API. Paste the key into HalftimeOS — it's encrypted at rest and never shown again in plain text. How often does the Zendesk data update?
On whatever cadence matches the meeting the KPI feeds — you choose which meeting series and how many days ahead to pull, so the number's ready before that huddle starts, the same as any other integration in HalftimeOS.
Is my Zendesk data secure?
Yes. Your Zendesk credentials are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and scoped to your organization only. Connect with a restricted, read-only key where Zendesk supports one, so HalftimeOS can never write back to your account.
